Only way Ottawa takes Trouba is if Zaitsev's going back the other way.

Ottawa has a good GM it’s just Melnyk that’s a clown and he’d want to stay away from a big contract like that.
Also Trouba didn’t want to be with the jets for the same reason he will never go to the sens

Trust me. Trouba is good. He’s over paid by about a million a year but still good. Keep him and play him with someone other than staal (thank god that isn’t an option anymore)

Give him a capable partner and he will return to form

I thought trouba didn't want to play in Canada as his dad is a criminal and can't cross the border?

Ottawa (read Melnyk) is a cheapskate and doesn't like paying players...

Jets fan, and I disagree. Pair him with someone other than staal and you will see. He obviously won’t get 50 points against without power play time, but he’s still good and I’d love to have him back on the jets
