They would have had to put in a waiver claim earlier today or last night, can't do a waiver claim after the fact unfortunetely.

He got put on waivers today, not yesterday.

Well if you did have him, it wouldn’t really make sense to carry 4 goalies with the team.

Pretty sure the league requires one of the taxi squad players to be a goalie. Either the jets put Berdin on the taxi squad and not have him play, or they claim a better goalie in Nedel, avoid waivers by scratching him, and putting a random non-valuable goalie on the taxi squad. It's inefficient, but it's better than the alternative.

Ah well don't imagine we want to carry three goalies on the active roster all week but could work.

Jets should sign Schneider who's on a PTO with the Isles. Send him down and let him be their Taxi Goalie. Berdin needs to play in the A this year to develop more and even if Helle or Bro go down with injury i would still call Berdin up first and by-pass Schneider on to the main roster. But let him play in the A instead of purgatory in the Taxi Squad. Schneids can be a good soldier and take the money to practice

Can't see Schneider moving to Canada at this point.

Can just send Berdin to the AHL when it starts up, carry 4 goalies for a bit but who cares, also Nedeljkovic could fill the exposure slot to Seattle, Jets should claim him.

I thought so, well then they could claim him and keep him as one of the scratches all season and keep Berdin on the taxi squad until the AHL season starts, not ideal but I'd do it if I was Chevy.
