No idea where you got the information that Byron wants out but if that was the case (which I doubt it is) he would he a 4th. Also Poehling is not a 2C and Suzuki is better at center than on the wing.

Do you have a source of Byron wanting out? He's a great bottom 6 player and is a leader on this team. We have no interest in trading him unless a team overpays for him.

Byron is a handy player but his contract in this market isn't awesome for a bottom 6 player. Detroit has alot of guys they need to get a good look at this season so maybe not right now.

I don't understand the fascination with this transaction on here. From everything I've read on here, a lot of your fanbase, and the organization, seems to want him there. Conversely, we have absolutely no interest in him. It is a horrendous fit, both in contract and role.

He wants out? Lol. The only people that want him out are idiots in this fanbase and other team’s GMs because they want to acquire him. Byron isn’t going anywhere.

And my thoughts on you lines are that they’re garbage. You have an AHLer at 2C, and our best centre on the wing.
