Lol. The amount of over reaction on this site is absolutely unreal.

It was 1 game. Hockey has tons of ups and downs. But no one that knows hockey thinks the Sens are better than the Leafs. No one.

& just remember, team USA beat Canada in the round robin at the 2010 Olympics and look how that ended for them in the gold medal game.

Lol. Guess you don't know hockey then.

Again, it was 1 game. The Leafs are a far superior team and everyone knows it. But you can't win every game, loses happen. Ottawa doesn't go from a bottom 5 team to better than a top 10 team just like that.

TOR is gonna have a long season, all those fans and we're the best team in the North.............. 3rd-4th place at best. Coaching staff is just horrible. GM moves were awful.
There is no reason any team should be playing Thornton for 18 minutes a night. None, anywhere, not even in the KHL. Spezza and Simmonds are no different. This coach, GM, and team have officially got away from what could have made them good. Playing with speed. For "grit" aka old vets who are slow as hell and washed up. That isn't grit. It's just bad hockey.
