It will take longer imo for a team like the Blackhawks who remember are trying to lose than just a year.

I know every player gets a year older and a year better this team doesn’t turn around in a year. Even with Dunn and Kuemper.

As a hawks fan I don’t think this would be the smart direction to go. Trade the players who you don’t have control over who only have a year or two left on there contacts for picks and build for the future. It would be nice for Toews and Kane to finish their careers in Chicago but the return the hawks can get for them would accelerate the rebuild by getting high picks and prospects back. Although, it would be nice to see them make the playoffs next year, but they’re no where near a real Stanley Cup contender even with these trades.

This would be a perfect blackhawks offseason in my opinion. Does it make them Stanley cup contenders? Probably not immediately but it definitely makes them a playoff team and possible cup contenders the 22-23 season after more playoff experience.

I don't know which way to go, I'm really torn on this situation. On one hand, with the right moves this team can contend again. Toews and Kane can still produce, they just need a better supporting cast. On the other hand, Colliton has implemented a system that has only been successful in Europe. To be successful in this system, the team needs more grinders. Unfortunately, this team has too many grinders. While CHI has allowed fewer goals, they're struggling to score. It's a double edged sword with this system. Colliton is trying to win game 2-1.

It took teravainen to get rid of Bickell. It’s gonna take Debrincat + for Seabrook

Doubt it. Turbo was not nearly who he was today when the Hawks traded him; surely not even close to what Cat has proven at a similar age. And Bickell was never close to Seabrook, even Seabs now. More likely a 1st, or a good prospect like Reichel

Boqvist would be enough to move Seabs
