RNH is a pretty **itty 3C. Edm needs some grit that can skate and control the play, not guys like Kassian.

You'd think Oiler fans would realize that needing a 3C isn't the problem, they need 4-5 NHL calibre top 6 forwards so they can move RNH to centre. Instead they put him on the wing because they don't have anyone else that can play with McDavid or Draisaitl beyond Yamamoto and now need an entirely better bottom 6.....and two more top 6 wingers.

Totally, but then who plays wing in the top 6? That is their problem, they have 2 top 6 wingers and one of them is a centre and no other NHL calibre players in their forward ranks. Been saying this for 3 seasons now.

Well in his defence there really isn't any easy fix to the Oilers problems. The old boys club in charge just doesn't get it.

Nuge played center until last year. He gets manhandled as center and can’t drive the play. Since he was moved to the wing he has averaged a point per game. They are short one LW everybody else belongs on the top 6.

They need an entire bottom 6 2-3 better defenceman and a goalie. And will be trying to entice FA's to come all while having limited money to spend. It's not an easy fix and isn't going to happen.
