Why would you do that? Keep Lemieux and trade Hajek and a 4th.

well the whole premise of the trade is Dermott for Lemieux. Hajek and Engvall were just to fill 7th D and 4th line F holes created respectively

Why would Toronto trade two nhlers for one? Another trade that makes little sense. By the looks of this trade you would think rangers are buying and the leafs are selling.

I don’t see the rangers having anything they would be willing to part with that the leafs would want in return.

Leafs pass.

Come talk to them after the season, and maybe they'd listen if Georgiev was involved. But other than that, there's not much players of interest for Toronto. & that's only if they don't re-sign Andersen
