    If 1 eye is on the Point extension and the second eye is on Coleman's pending UFA then which eye is on the Tyler Johnson Seattle trade? The 3 eyed raven Bran Stark?

    Someone is going to overpay Coleman (and good for him). Tampa will not have the cap for him.

    Coleman isn't going to be re-signing unless he turns Buddhist and decides money is no object.

    Tampa likes doing same size contracts. I bet Point will get 9.5 like Vasilevskiy and Kucherov

    If Foote get's offersheeted then what happens? I know its unlikely but there's no way you could defend against it could you?

    They didn't offersheet Sergachev, Cirelli, Cernak all of whom were way better. Foote hasn't even proven he's worth anything in the NHL yet. If he's offersheeted I doubt it's much more, don't sign Gio, run a 21 man roster.

    What happens is Pettersson of Hughes get offersheeted?

    Then either Killorn or Palat (the one not moved in addition to Johnson) would have to be moved too. But Foote is still a project IMO. Panics at times in his own zone and is caught flat footed often too. I don't think he'll be an offer sheet target.

    Fair enough, definitely not in the same tier as Cirelli/Cernak/Sergachev. Still, getting a young RD for cheap would be something I would look at, even though NHL teams don't offersheet.
