I think what you mean is you have a partial Gallagher type of player in Hyman. Hyman plays with heart and tenacity like Gally. Hyman does not have Gally's knack for scoring. He has never put up 30 goals in a season Gally has 2 and was on pace for a 3rd last season and currently is on pace for 35+ this year prorated. Going into last season Gally was 6th in the league for 5 vs 5 goals over the previous 3 seasons. So they are similar but Gally has a better knack for scoring. BTW I agree Nylander is also a good player and I have no idea why theleafsseason keeps running him down so much.

Hyman was on pace for like same points and more goals in 82 games last season than Gally. I don't think he's 100% up to Gally's level but he's certainly close enough to fill that role very, very well.

Gally was on pace for 31 goals last season not sure what Hyman was on pace for but like I said Hyman is a good player certainly a first line winger. However cause Gally scores with the best of them at 5 on 5 and has consistently put up 30 goals (or on pace for it) he is like you said a step above Hyman. I was not trying to say Hyman was bad or even not good just that Gally was a bit better.

Agree to disagree then. To me, if you're the same age drafted in the same year and in the same round, but one guy has played over 550+ games with 340pts and the other is around 300GP with only 150pts, that is a grounds for a different stratosphere in my books 🤷‍♂️
