Description

Assuming Klefbom isn't exempt, Oilers Protect:

Draisaitl
RNH (midseason extension)

No reason Hall should get paid more than Draisaitl. Fair offer imo.
If the Neal trade isnt plausible then they could simply buy him out and it's basically the same savings. I think this is reasonable however.
This is also assuming Klefbom won't be back next year. He hasnt even had surgery yet and won't for a while. Plus he will want to make sure he feels right. He won't rush it. Even if he can come back they can just wait until playoffs where theres no cap.

Good compensation for Neal but it would be somewhere else that takes him. The last things the Nucks need is another bad contract

Zero chance of Ryan Nugent-Hopkins signing for 5 x $6,800,000 rumors are he's seeking a 7 or 8 year deal in the neighborhood of $7,500,000 to $8,000,000 per season. Taylor Hall isn't returning to Edmonton.

The years are irrelevant. It's just what I picked. Nuge isn't getting 8 haha he can ask for that all he wants. He will probably get around 7 if he signs in Edmonton and maybe a bit more of he goes UFA. Yes you're probably right about Hall but you never know. And I was just showing that it could work with the cap if he wanted to.

I feel like about 6. 4-5 years for Tatar and 3 years for Hoffman.
