Beagle is a cap dump, you have to pay to get rid of him, 26 points in 126 games, two seasons at $3MM each, it’s going to cost the Canucks to get rid of that contract.

Montreal takes that and runs. Mete likely only returns around a 4th. If Bergevin waits too long then they will just lose him on waivers.
