Could be worse trade proposal this year. Virtanen and Gaudette aren't contributing at all to the out the playoffs Canucks. How can they even crack the Leafs lineup?

Nobody is contributing on the Canucks. Doesn’t mean they don’t have value. Gaudette and Virtanen are both very useful players. Kerfoot is good, however, seems miscast ok the 3rd line. 1st is going to be bottom 5, so I believe that’s in the realm of fair value.

Calling it the worst trade of the year is a bit dramatic.
