    Probably would protect 8-1. Protect klefbom and Jones. Lagesson would be an option to be picked unless they want to try to negotiate with nuge. Resign Barrie over Larsson but he’ll want atleast 6. Need to add more to both of the trades.

    7-3 is the only way to go. It honestly doesn't matter if they lose lagesson or Jones. They have Samorukov and Broberg coming up who are both better than Jones. They just need to keep one of them in case Klefbom doesn't come back. I would not protect Klefbom either too much uncertainty if he comes back and is only at 50% they are really screwed because they will not have the cap to replace him.

    Which forwards would you protect. I only see 4 worth protecting that have a contract next year.

    Mcdavid, drai, yamo, puljujarvi, nuge (protects from contract negotiations from Seattle prior to deadline), Kahun (RFA), Kassian or Archibald probably Archibald.

    Oh that makes sense. I didn’t know kahun was an rfa after this year. Now I’m even more confused how Buffalo just let him walk.

    They were afraid he would go to arbitration and get like 3 million AAV. So they didn’t make him an offer.
