I’m on the fence for this one. Reilly has been much better lately, and only makes $1.5MM, but Ottawa needs to trade a defenceman. I’m not a fan of Virtanen, and the Sens will be stuck with him for two seasons, but he might be able to keep Paquette out of the games.

i think canucks would decline. We dont need any more middle of the road d men we need a true top 4 d man to take the heat off Hughes Use Jake as part of a bigger trade for another top 4 d man..in my opinion

It's weird and head-scratching how Paquette has turned to mush in Ottawa. He was quite the useful 4C in Tampa for a long time. It has to be mentally jarring, though, to go from the best team in the NHL to the worst. I wonder if his game will come back if he's dealt to a better team.
