Bennett for a 1st seems like something that will absolutely f*ck up Toronto's expansion draft plans...I'm assuming that at this point, they probably go 8-1, with Tavares, Nylander, Marner, Matthews, Brodie, Rielly, Holl and Muzzin, meaning they'd likely lose Bennett for nothing at that point. A 1st seems like a lot to pay for a guy that they don't really need at this point.

Not saying Brady is better, but Brady is more important to the development of the rebuild and the franchise as a whole. Hes more valued, and will be more expensive.

If you want Brady (I really want it too), the starting price from Ottawa would be one of the best player of the Flames (a young one cause they are rebuilding) so, Andersson,Valimaki Lindholm, Monahan,Gaudreau or even Chucky. One of these names need to be in the trade.

Right now your offer is: hey Ottawa, do you want to take a 4 years step back in your rebuild? I can give you 1 nhl ready player, a top prospect and a 2022 1st rounder.
