The price may not be that high, but the Sabres will demand a useful young player, not just a veteran cap dump and a late 1st. They don’t need any more defensive prospects, but young forwards that could help now.

sign Armia to an extension before the trade.
Drop Kulak, and Brook and add a 2nd.
I think the Sabres would do it.
Armia is not Hall, but he would add a solid RW to the line up.
