What do you guys think of Maatta? I haven't been able to watch too many kings games this year. Just curious if you'd go back and do the trade again?

He's fine when he's playing in the correct spot. Which, to be clear, is NOT a 1st pair defenseman. He was an absolute train-wreck to start the season when he played next to Drew against top-line opposition. After that, he was a healthy scratch for a few games, figured out the system a bit more in practice, and has since been on mostly the 3rd pair. He's been fine there, and he brings some experience to a group of VERY young defensemen. He also gives the Kings someone to fulfill the expansion draft requirements. So to answer the last part of your comment, yes I'd do the trade again. I haven't followed Brad Morrison at all, but I don't think he's made it anywhere past the AHL...

Common sense would say yes, but something tells me he is going to take a massive discount. Most Kings players take discounts.
