Only hope Virtanen will be to the Ducks what Nick Ritchie has been for the Bruins.

Such a waste of time. I would now be able to say I hate management if we complete this trade. Hope the boys club that over values grit and size is over by end of this year.

I guess that the thinking on our side would be we have an excess of LWs, we need help at RW, and Virtanen will be cheaper than Heinen. I could live with it, but there's an air of "shuffling deck chairs on the Titanic" reminiscent of the Milano-for-Sprong trade all too noticeable here.

For Christ's sake, we just lost the guy we all thought would be our #2C for a few years and our #1C is due to retire or re-up for a one-year deal. We're going into 2021-2022 with the very real possibility that our #1C will be a rookie. Isn't anybody worried about that?

Id rather tey Terry with Rico at center then trying to force him with Getzlaf before swapping Heinen for A RW lesser version of what we gave up for Heinen in the first place.

I also saw Grant possible being added to make the money work.
