Jeez, why is everyone underrating Turcotte now. I've seen his value on this site go way down.

I want him, so I'm not undervaluing him. Krav and Robertson are legit prospects

Turcotte is an A+ center prospect and Kravtsov is an A- wing prospect. Probably gonna need to switch Robertson with our 2022 1st.

And I would think someone like Blake Lizotte is more realistic to trade for. If we’re looking at the Kings

And one more thing, I gotta say I love the irony of trading for Frederic after Friday’s game lol. He and Lemieux would make an interesting locker room.

I had read that Frederic was somewhat of a bust, but after the last two games against the Rangers, that kid can play on my team for sure.

They are legit prospects- but even together they probably don’t put enough value in for LA to part with their 2nd best C prospect...there is a premium to be paid for blue chip C’s since many teams are in need...that all said- I wonder if mention of KA Miller would interest LA in a deal involving Turcotte?

I traded for Ekholm because I figured they can use the veteran presence, and him and Nils can be fundamentally sound and Swedish together. But, I'd forget Ekholm, slot in Robertson, maybe bring Brendan Smith back for like 1.5mil as insurance and give up the first and Krav of Turcotte

I wouldn't do Krav and K' Andre. K'Andre and Pujleremi (butchered that spelling, but the Finnish kid with the good shot)

Honestly if LA trades Turcotte it will be for a Dman, which would either be an established one or a good D prospect like Lundkvist

Not interested in Miller while we have Anderson and Bjornfot.

Fair enough...I mention Miller because rumors are out there that LA is looking for a dynamic LD...so far in a small sample at NHL level he has shown to be silky smooth and up to the tough assignments...he’s still got a lot to learn and develop- but he looks like a sure top 4 D on any team going forward....fwiw I don’t think either team would make this deal- too risky on both sides....unless the Rangers overwhelm with an offer- no way is LA moving Turcotte....and the Rangers just won’t do that. I’m thinking that a C prospect that LA might be more “reasonable” in dealing might be Madden...any thoughts?

I think they'd try to move Akil Thomas before Madden.

I think the Kings want someone who is already established. Besides Rangers need a "dynamic LD" themselves and Lindgren/Miller should be a good top 4 for them in the near future.

Agreed...by no means looking to move Miller- just realize a team has to give to get....and right now the Rangers have a number of real good D prospects....while LA seems to have a stack of real good C prospects....you’d think both teams would be willing to make a deal- both dealing from a position of strength to satisfy a need...but since both teams are still essentially rebuilding- swapping of blue chips is probably not happening...probably only way to get a blue chip prospect is to squeeze a team in “win now” mode at TDL...this is neither NY or LA

My problem is that I think our real issue is at RD, but rumors suggest otherwise. We have no RD in our pipeline to someday replace Doughty or even a #2 RD. Roy is great, but he doesn't put up enough numbers to be a #2 behind Doughty.

I wouldn't mind making a deal for one of Rangers RD, but I'm mainly interested in Lundqvist. Faber seems like a very similar player to Schneider so I'm not sure I'd want him.

Lundqvist- another guy NYR wouldn’t move unless they got an offer LA wouldn’t make....if you want a scoring RD- boy, do the NYR have a guy for you!! Lol...seriously though- another guy who might interest LA is Trouba...might be worth at least kicking the tires on

Figured that at the deadline Boston will be looking for secondary scoring. Strome has been better defensively and has produced decently without Panarin these past few games. That said, I can see why Boston declines. Just figured that since Boston was fleeced for Nash, lightening might strike twice

I mean the value might be there, but yeah bruins already r MORE than good at center. So it just isnt gonna work out realistically. Also Freddy fits the bruins system too well

Trouba doesn't really fit our timeline. Tbh I'm not sure if there's a deal to be made between NYR and LAK. If there is, both of us probably won't like it lol

Lunqvist and Kravtsov for Turcotte and a 3rd? I'd do that if I'm the Rangers. Then they can fire Gorton, bring back Deangelo, and i'm happy
