I know I’m over the cap but they could try and get Andersen and Hyman on back for cheaper and possibly sign someone or haula cheaper or use brooks instead of Boyd. Rakell was acquired at the deadline. Forsberg in the off-season after the expansion draft.

    NSH and ANA pass. They will want more for both.. especially with retained cap.

    That doesn't get you close to Forsberg without the retention let alone 50% off. Remove the Preds trade then put the 1st in the Ducks trade and they might accept

    Imo at that point it’s probably an overpay, at the same time its rare to get a guy with 30+ goal upside for two years on a sub two mill contract, so maybe
