I'd love to see AM on the Oilers, but I think Yz is going to want more than that. It would take something uncomfortable to get the conversation started.

Agreed. He's probably a good add for the Oilers, but I don't think Yz would sell low on him. Samo is a good prospect and all, but I'm assuming that they'd be pushing pretty hard for a young fwd like Yam back, which, payroll-wise, probably isn't super wise for the Oil, given that they've got other holes to fill.

WAY too early to expect DH to make an impact in the NHL.

Up arrows for sure, but he has yet to play a pro game of hockey.

ATO in BAK after his NCAA season ends, then sign his ELC next year. Just like Holland did with Larkin.

i think holloway starts next season in bakersfield then comes up after christmas. He's not quite full grown yet and he needs to be to play his style of game in the NHL.

That's actually pretty solid. Does this f*ck you guys cap-wise when it comes to re-signing RNH/upgrading elsewhere though?

Wings should accept that. I'd actually really like to see Mantha on McDavid's wing.

No. They have enough room to make things work for 3 years following this year. Broberg's contract will slide which will give them enough space till mantha's contract is done.

I'd probably do it if I was Detroit.

What would you pay to lose Neal? Detroit has the cap space to absorb him.

I think it's another 1st at minimum, which is pretty dangerous for Edmonton, since their system would be pretty banged up after this trade. Plus, there's going to be so many teams looking to shed payroll after this year, and not a lot of spots to take them. It wouldn't be cheap, that's for sure.

i think Tomas Tatar is the number 1 target for edmonton in free agency personally.

So 2x first rounders, Holloway, Jones, Neal for Mantha?

Seems logical with Holland's familiarity with Tatar.

I think the 2nd 1st is bare minimum. I like Neal, but he's basically just a PP option at this point. $11 mil is a lot to take on.

The way I see it is a wash cap wise since Mantha is outgoing and Holloway + Jones are ELCs and picks. I'd pull the trigger on that deal also.

Yeah, I'd just worry about term on him TBH. $5-$5.5 is fine, and I think he'd be a solid add, but I wouldn't give him more than 3 years.

Yeah, if I was Detroit, I'd probably want someone slightly better than Jones if I was taking Neal, but I could see it. I also don't hate the idea of saying f*ck it, and going after Tatar instead.

This is WAY too much for Mantha. 2x at least. Holloway will be the better player in 2 years easily, no need to spend all these assets for a guy who has never scored 50 points.

I agree a huge over pay for Mantha. Holloway is going to be a stud and is a Holland draft pick do no way he trades him.

Sure isn't that, Any deal of Mantha going to Edmonton starts with Phillip Broberg minimal.
