      Well he is playing in Tampa Bay where the taxes are favourable and everyone takes less. And with a flat cap, $10.5 million is a lot closer to market value than it usually would be.

      I don't see Katchouk and Raddysh forcing Volkov and Joseph on the 4th line. Likely the other way around.

      You could wiggle with this if you sent a Byron and Kulak back the other way, it almost compensates for Gourde's contract coming back the other way. His face off's are at 49%. What concerns me is, he would eventually be playing on 3rd line and that is a lot of money for a 3rd line Centre. Suzuki is already passed Gourde and KK would be by next season. Also, if you are going to pay $5.16 M, you may as well pay that to Danault.
