Eichel has 14 pts and Oshie has 14 pts

Description
Trying to copy Buccigross' offer (which fans of Buf and NYR say is fair, here): https://www.capfriendly.com/forums/thread/423527

Lapierre=Chytil--potential #1C who's had some injuries--Lapierre was predicted to be a top-five pick but missed too much of last year. He's back. Has 18 pts in 11 games this year in junior.
WSH pick<NYR pick by a couple spots, but give NYR Eichel without taking away any roster players and maybe not. Maybe that's equal.
Oshie>Kakko (proven 30 goal scorer vs ???)
Fehervary=Schneider (Fehervary is NHL-ready, though)

Any good?

That's a weird list, some of those guys aren't even prospects anymore.

Which one? I just opened the first hits I got and looked for the guys in the trades. Only because you questioned my statement that the Buccigross offer did not include the Rangers' best prospects. I really don't look at those sorts of things, because I think you can tell more by watching players and looking at their stats than from some random writer's opinion.

So just to be clear, you think that oshie, a 34 year old, is of interest to the rebuilding Buffalo Sabres?

What he said. Love it when a guy with no value to Buffalo gets put into a deal just so Washington can clear cap space for themselves. Does not work that way. Take Oshie out and put McMichael in OR leave Oshie in and add McMichael and 2022 1st. Don't forget about Lapierre's concussion history. Might not have the value you think he does.

Read the description. Look up the players if you don't know them. Google some highlights. The Rangers are on TV more, but other teams have real prospects and goalies, too.

Let's look it up, shall we? These guys say these guys rank 3,4, and 9: https://www.blueshirtbanter.com/2020/12/15/22169436/blueshirt-banter-2020-new-york-rangers-prospect-rankings-top-24-under-24-rankings-lafreniere-kakko

The guys I'm offering from the Caps apparently rank 2nd, 3rd, and 5th in their system, here: https://www.nhl.com/news/washington-capitals-prospect-watch/c-319787690

If you find better lists, I"m open to reading them. Georgiev graduated before the above was written, but really, Vanecek has now graduated, too. Kakko and Lafreniere were supposed to turn into dependable NHL regulars this year, but if they had, this board would contain something other than Eichel to NYR posts.

Eichel practically asked for a trade. In the NHL, that lowers his trade value. See ROR.

Oshie, meanwhile, has as many points as Eichel, and is only earning $2.5M salary this year.

Who cares? He means nothing to a rebuilding team. Literally nothing.

It's cool how Bos and WSH are rivals again. Been a while.

McMichael is a couple months older than Lafreniere, plays a more valuable position, and performed similarly in juniors and world juniors last year. Neither is a throw-in. If not for Lapierre's injury last year he would have been a top five pick. Instead, because of uncertainty, his value is comparable to Chytil. I think he has a higher ceiling, still, but Chytil is starting to show that, when healthy, he can at least play a middle-six role in the NHL. The NHL is still a couple years away for Lapierre.

You think you are making a valid offer for Eichel and not including your top prospect? Think again. McMichael is a must add. You can go on whatever tangent you want but that's a fact.

All offseason, B's fans were trying to add a #1LD. Most were paying a lot more than the above for guys about as good as Orlov.

No. Sweeney literally said they are happy with their young dmen, giving Zboril, Lauzon, and Vaakanienen a try, and are NOT trying to acquire a LHD.

So i still dont get "It's so cool being rivals again!", but yeah bruins reject. (its also an overpay btw lol)

It's an overpay if you go by offense just this season, but it's cheap if you watched the 2018 playoffs, or the last five seasons, when Orlov's been a top-10 LHD at everything but power plays. Wasn't aware of stated lack of need. That totally makes sense. Thanks.
