Description

Take this with a grain of salt Im just having fun here not trying to be ultra realistic.
Hall resigns in Colorado for less than 8m. Saad leaves for free agency. Graves will get taken in expansion draft so theres over 3m gone and also Saad is over 5m gone. With Hall taking less money that will mean Colorado will have almost 10m capspace for players like Makar and Landeskog for example. Bellemare leaves for free agency.

realistically any Eichel trade is going to be for futures, as they are pulling the plug on attempting to compete in the next 3-5 years. Guys like Rantanen (who they would never get in a return from contending teams) makes 0 sense for them....why would they want guys off their ELCs and a few seasons into their big money deals. You arent trading Eichel and trying to win still at the same time,

IF they trade Eichel is going to be a deep cut for a few seasons of pain as they building around Dahlin, Cozens, Quinn. You are aiming at when Dahlin is 22-23 years old entering his prime for all the pieces to come together. Not now

It makes sense, but this is Buffalo, this organization is run by clowns and anything can happen. Maybe they will exchange Eichel for Monahan or trade him for a bunch of garbage like it was with ROR, I am seriously afraid of their actions.

I would be too...the common issue is the Pegulas with what is broken in the sabres org. They have gutted the management group a few times, even this summer firing 20 some people and bringing in all new people and the same issues are there. Something seriously is broken in that org and it has to be the ownership, its the only thing left from over the past regimes.

Why do players when they get to buffalo just fall off a cliff? On paper the moves looked good for them but not one addition has lived up to the level of play from the season before joining Buffalo. Something is going on behind the scenes there and my gut is telling me its that the ownership group has something to do with a negative culture behind the scenes

kadri doesnt have to go and its a little much giving up rant, and id perfer kadri over hall, hall imo is a locker room cancer
