I like the vancouver deal, but the Canucks surely don’t.

That flames deal makes me want to throw up.

Yeah, pretty much. I do think Kase has some value if he can stay on the ice. Theory being, shut it down for the year, get healthy and you have a young guy under team control who for a short stretch not that long ago was probably a 10 RW in the league. Kuraly was for salary reasons and could be flipped for a 3rd or a desperate 1st like Goodrow - although 3rd is more likely.

Why? I think Lucic for 1.25m more over moore is worth the 3rd if for no other reason, in a pinch you know he would have chemistry with Krejci. Honestly, I just want someone to punch people in the face or grab them by the chin strap like Matt Martin did the other night to Frederic. I don't want RItchie and Frederic doing that stuff, they appear to be able to play a little. *In reference to Pastrnak and any of the skill Bruins players who are getting hit more than they used to.

It was Moore for Lucic and 3rd
Hanafin for Debrusk & 1st, but Feel like wasn't enough and Clifton seemed like a good sweetener.

I think that deal leaves them in very good position for Seattle too. They will end up probably losing Gryzelcyk, which wouldn't be great, but they would still have Zboril and Lauzon.

Why would we give up a first in a deal bringing back Lucic when we just traded a first to shed backes

JD + 1st for Hanafin
Moore for Lucic + 3rd

Felt like Calgary would want something more.

I only want lucic to protect Pastrnak. He has also always been a different player when motivated. You might be able to get a decent stretch out of him. At least this way they get a pick to shed moore.

Wouldn’t give up a first for hanifin. Wouldn’t do debrusk either.

How do we know of the chemistry of lucic and krejci?

I think Noah Hanifin gets a tad bit overrated here. He's a struggling top 4 dman who looks like isn't improving like one might hope. I get he's the hometown boy and Boston has been targeting him since his draft year, but I think you overpaid for him in this deal. I'm not convinced he'll be this unreal top 4 dman here in Boston until I see it

I'd say Jake Debrusk for Noah Hanifin straight up would be a deal Calgary might consider

Kase scored 20 G ONCE. Never was a 10 RW and never will be. Had injury history before Boston traded for him and obviously it still applies. You are trying to create value that is not there.
