buf says no. no interest in deangelo and firsts going all the way to 2023. Starts with Kakko, if you arent willing to move kakko, Eichel is not going to NYR

Rangers just need to rebuild properly. This team wouldn’t make the playoffs.

Buffalo needs Miller more than they need Kavtsov. If Miller is not in the deal I do not think they is any reason to trade to the Rangers

A top 5 center in the league speeds that process up dramatically. Centers win championships

This is another good reason why Jack isn’t going to ask out until he has a NMC. He doesn’t want to wait anymore. He doesn’t make the Rangers a playoff team with the limited depth they would have if Buffalo got full value.

Playing for the Big Apple with strong organizational stability with a Top 6 like that goes a long way. We are talking about NYC not cold ass Buffalo that hasn't been to playoffs in a decade

Rangers signed jack Johnson... and kept Kakko in the NHL when he was struggling. That’s not really competent. I don’t think he cares about the climate most hockey city’s are cold.

You can't say playing with a Top 5 winger in the league on a young and upcoming team in a big media market doesn't intrigue a man like Eichel

I’m sure it would intrigue a lot of players. But to act like the Rangers are a good organization is laughable. Plenty of draft misses bad coaching and bad player development seems similar to his current situation..

besides the trade, please don't re-sign Brendan Smith for $4 mil a year or Codi Ceci at all. Bobby Ryan maybe but Perry is cooked.

where's Chytil?

also, i think any trade with Sabres should probably include Georgiev since they dont seem to have a starter for next year or beyond.

Thank you. I hate seeing Eichel trades cause it reminds me of Sather-Era hockey. Can we rebuild, grow, then fine tune.

Exactly! that deal is basically 5 first rounders & a 2nd rounder for a guy that's never played in the postseason & doesn't want to play for the team that's trying to move him.
let Buf shop him, that value will not come back from anyone & i like Eichel.

He hasn’t said any of that. He’s obviously has some injuries he’s playing through. He’s having a hard time scoring but has been amazing defensively.

He might have injuries we don't know to what extent but he looks disinterested on the ice

He hurt his shoulder before training camp. And looked like he hurt his ankle pretty bad last week against NJ.
