Yeah I'm not a fan of Vesey's game but sadly he's probably not going anywhere and that's mostly due to cap reasons.

When healthy, if there was a way to have both Simmonds and Engvall in the lineup, that's what I'd like to see.... but.. do the math. It won't work and that's where Vesey and his 700K salary becomes a factor in being in the lineup.
