What do Bruins fans want for DeBrusk

Created by: McDavidFan97
Team: 2020-21 Edmonton Oilers
Initial Creation Date: Mar. 11, 2021
Published: Mar. 11, 2021
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
Based on what Holland said in his press conference today, it sounds like the only place he'd consider making an upgrade is in the top 6. He said that we have enough depth this season and won't need to acquire guys like we did Ennis and Green last TDL

How about a guy that can score 15 and kick people in the chest with his skate blade?

Nothing, EDM doesn't have a scoring 2nd line winger or a top4 LD available.

Why would someone trade a 2nd line scoring winger for a 2nd line scoring winger having a bad season

Boston needs the samething, top 6 that has some 5 on 5 punch. I dnt see then moving debrusk for parts unless they make a deal prior to moving him.

First, I didn't say it was one for one. Second, DeBrusk is indeed struggling but it's only 15-20 games in and we know he's better than how he's currently playing. Bruins are not even guaranteed to move him, they can keep him.

Would would Boston trade their 2nd line winger for anything other than an upgrade to the roster? Either your getting an upgrade on DeBrusk (Boston would add obviously) or a LHD to play w/ McAvoy.

I mean for example. Anaheim wouldn't want to trade Rakell for DeBrusk, but they would want to trade Rakell for picks and prospects. Oilers give Boston picks and prospects for DrBrusk, Bruins move those to ANA for Rakell. Bruins could acquire Ekholm with the picks and prospects or any other player. Similar moves have been done many times before

Why wouldn't ANH want DeBrusk in deal? He's an RFA when his contract is up vs Rakell whose a UFA. He's 24yr old and can replace some of the production they lose from moving Rakell.

If Oilers had that what would they need Debrusk for?
