Holland said yesterday he's happy with the depth of the team and is looking for a top 6F with experience. Some of things guys I know are not available or would cost to much. But just curious what you all think? Who's a possible target? Who fits the best? Holland also made it clear it has to be cap in cap out.

I wouldn't mind Gusev and I don't think he would cost much just because of the seasons he's having if I'm not mistaken. Might be a bit of a gamble though.

I agree. A conditional 3rd round pick should be fair. Depending on how well he does the pick gets higher

Depth, but the bottom 6 is much better now then at the beginning of the year. Regardless he said he wants to use what assets they have for a top 6F

Seriously though, It should be someone who can relatively keep up with McDavid. That would be deadly.

Im guessing the forward would be 3.5 million or less salary because edmonton has to send back a contract to get him.

Detroit would probably ask for a second round pick for Ryan and Mantha according to some Athletic & Custance speculation would ask for a high end prospect or first round picks.

Maybe. you never know though, Holland should take a look just for the sake of it.

It can never hurt to see the value of a player, it’s not like it costs anything to say “hey, what would you want for Taylor Hall?” other than maybe his phone bill.
