Description

I believe Jost has been playing a great energy role for the 3rd line and is a cheaper option than Compher (should help releive some cap space in the offseason too). Bernier is a SOLID 1B goalie. I'd love to see Pickard back with the AVS, the last real chance he has was with them during the dark times and he still held his own fairly well, given who was playing in front of him. This should also be a decent pick up for Detroit, getting a solid 2way center that is young and under a c ap friendly contract for the next couple years. IF needed we still would have a 3rd pick to pick up a 3rd line center at the trade dead line.

Wings pass, you can keep compher he's a cap dump at best for us, so you would have to pay for us to take him. Pickard is being exposed in expansion draft and bernier gets us a 3rd

Don't think Detroit can trade away two goalies like this and still have enough goalies.

Why would Detroit do this? Bernier is hurt and could be out awhile. if we deal Bernier then more then likely Pickard is Greiss's backup we don't have much options unless another Goalie like Reimer is dealt to Detroit.
