I don't see Ullmark as much of an improvement over Andersen and then sign him you risk losing him or Campbell to Seattle. He's less proven than Andersen and when Andersen is healthy and on top of his game, he's a top 10 goalie in the league.

Staal doesn't really make sense for the Leafs and I think they're staying away from him. Keefe wants a shutdown 3rd line and Staal doesn't really fit that for a 3C, if he became the top 6 winger they want then maybe a fit but I wouldn't think they'd move much for him and Buffalo has no leverage to get a good amount back.

Hall would be nice, but I don't think he gets anywhere close to a 1st and a top prospect like Robertson this year. So analysts were saying they'd be surprised if he got more than a 2nd and a good prospect. The pandemic has drastically changed the trade market, and with Hall becoming a UFA again while not producing it doesn't scream a ton of trade value. Not to mention that if this is done at the deadline, with the 2 week quarantine in Canada in affect still, Hall would only get 7 games in the season with Toronto. Can't see them overspending for that.

I really don't see how Hall and Staal really helping the Leafs, who seem solid on the wings and centres. No logic in thinking how Ullmark helps the Leafs with the Seattle draft as he is a UFA like Anderson.
Plus the closer to three weeks of time in quarantine and practice before seeing NHL action.
