A $400ish K raise and only 4 years for Landeskog? What did he do to deserve that kind of offer?

You're light on Landeskog, he probably gets somewhere near $7 million. Grubauer's probably in the $5.25-5.5 range. Too much for Saad, love the guy and his production has been great, but he'll need to take a team-friendly deal to stay. And Osterle makes little sense considering you have Byram and EJ

I can't see Grubauer signing for only 2 years -- this is likely his last big contract, and he's going to want term.

Spezza is retiring if he's not playing in TOR.

Saad will likely get $5m somewhere, so just depends if you want to be the team to pay it or not. $4m just seems too low.

ye thats why I deleted his signing, Grubauer is just idk if im sold on him YET. IM fine with paying for 2 years quality goaltending and if he does good, ill extend

I think he'd look elsewhere at that point. His stats this year and age will get him a nice 5+ year deal from teams looking for a starting goalie. If he's only getting 2 years from COL, I could see him moving on. He's had injury concerns in the past (which is a reason to want less term), but he's been completely healthy this year and playing lights out hockey since the bubble -- he's going to want to use that to his advantage to leverage the best deal he can get. He'll want the financial security of a long-term deal. He has Vezina-like numbers right now -- if he keeps it up, he'll sign long-term.

missing either Graves Donskoi or Compher being selected in the draft and the term on Landy and Grubauer are too light. You will see 6-7 years on Landy and probably 5 years on Grubi. Saads deal is close, I think the Toffoli 4yrx4.25m is in the ballpark for a contract comp

so once you move Compher Graves or Donskoi....newhook will probably be on the team in the Top 9.
No worries man, the avs offseason should be pretty simple as its more about keeping their own. you were close and did a good job

Made Graves leave, makes the most sense and they have Byram

Yeah, I'd say somewhere in the $4-4.25 range for 2-4 years would do it.

I'd do away with the Osterle signing and Logan O'Connor plays over Sherwood IMO, but looks good otherwise
