I dont think any of those are at all interesting to the other teams except for maybe Colorado if they dont want to lose donskoi for free to seattle.

Well, I'm trying to understand the value here. What Dallas will be looking for. Why some Flyers fanbase trade Konecny a lot. Pesce would probably be hard to get hold of, but they might be tempted by a prospect like Eklund or Beniers at ELC.

Wouldn't want Miller, if you want Faksa it's picks and prospects or an even forward. I don't know how good Davidsson, but if he's good than maybe.

Miller is mainly for cap and maybe Stars will need RDs, the main value is the second round, which will be like a late first, this draft is of course strange, but even in it there are many good prospects. Davidsson is not very good, he is also for quantity and a change of scenery. Just wanted to understand the value Faksa.

I don't think Avs have an issue with losing Donskoi to Seattle. In fact, other than Seattle taking Compher it would be the best outcome if they took Donskoi. That would give the Avs enough cap room to resign Saad.

That said, with O'Connor needing only another 10 games played this season (of 25 remaining) he will be able to meet the criteria to be one of the 2 exposed forwards, so it's certainly possible that Sakic would value that capspace and accept a trade like this pre-draft to restock the draft capital and open capspace to resign Saad.

I don't think there would be any interest in taking Thompson's contract though so you can either remove him entirely or replace him with a late round pick or prospect instead. Avs have numerous bottom 6 forwards and prospects on cheaper deals that Thompson who they'd rather give ice time to, such as Jost, O'Connor, Bowers, Kaut, and Kovalenko if he comes over from Russia.

Faksa is worth two seconds ish. A deal to compare his value is Faksa for Virtanen, 2nd and a 5th.

If the Canes were a little farther away from their window, this deal might make sense. The Canes are better off keeping their difference makers and getting cheaper 4th line players.

Fair enough. I just thought that if Canes re-sign Hamilton, they could trade Pesce in such a deal to get a prospect like Eklund or Beniers at ELC and who would be ready to play in the NHL next season or a year later, and then they could sign Savard or Larsson in UFA and go with such a defense:

Slavin - Hamilton
Bean - Savard/Larsson
Skjei - Jokiharju

Even after the canes sign Dougie and Svech, there is no need to trade Pesce. His cap hit wouldn’t be the issue.
