Do your own work. Calgary will take 100% return for Bennett and Rittich, which is much more than Joey Anderson and a 6th, and Toronto can find some team to take Andersen...

Ellis will require one of your top 3 prospects involved. Who exactly is Calgary flipping Andersen to, because that trade is pretty bad for them if ita not already in place

NSH wouldn't trade Ellis because he is a "untouchable", but I don't understand why, because he is currently injured, and he wasn't necessarily anything "untouchable" for the games he played.

Leafs have no interest in the injured Ellis. Leafs don't can't afford his cap next season. And even if the Leafs had the cap, they would keep those assets over Ellis anyway. Better ways to spend 6.25m than Ellis anyway long term.

True, I don't think Reilly will be a Leaf when his contract expires. But contending teams don't worry about expiring contracts. They play to win now.
