Description

Bergy is going to push hard this year . He is betting on his team by trading mtl own picks (3rd and 5th).

So, He might not be done . We need an upgrade at D

Moreover, Even without playing this week, we are closer to the playoffs because Vancouver and Calgary lost a lot.
Bergevin thinks we might be able to make a run if things goes well, by icing 4 capable lines and praying price plays solid like last year playoffs .

It’s more of a way saying : do not trade Norlinder, his ceiling is too high to trade him for 1 year and 30 games of Ekholm.

Norlinder isn’t getting traded unless Montréal gets a quality of player that isn’t currently known to be available. How’s that?

Ok I know that would be great and we are in position to do it, I just hate the idea Norlinder becomes really good. But yeah, if we are really All In and Bergevin believe in the core, go ahead. But FFS Price and Weber needs to play better

They absolutely need , and adding Elkhom should boost our defense and Price/weber at the same time. Norlinder can become good but it’s still up in the air . We know what we get with Elkholm (1,5y of top 2 def) and maybe more if he resigns. We gotta give to get ..
