So he has a 10 team list. Assume he has buffalo on that list. Trade him to Ottawa or wherever with the prospect and like a 3rd round pick. Then get Hall for a 2nd or maybe still the first.

Kuemper is one of the 5 best goalies in the last 4 years. Andersen has been top 10 one year out of his career, and that year he still had 2 months where he went 880 and gaa of 4.

Hall is an elite player. Buffalo has taken the shine off, but he's top line player on every team in the league. Huge upgrade over kerfoot. Massive.

Well Kuemper is injured. Rehabbing alone in a hotel room doesn't seem like a good plan. Hall hasn't been that good for over a year. He wasn't special in Arizona and certainly has shown that much in Buffalo.

Kuemper is injured yes. But as I said, Campbell is way better than Andersen so even if wait a month or year for kuemper it's still a dramatic net positive. And it shouldn't be more than a few weeks.

Hall has been a point per game player besides playing for terrible Arizona and buffalo. His advanced stats still good even there. And a pdo of 92 this year. Wildly low.

He's elite and not old enough to have fallen off a cliff.

What's with Leaf fans refusing to give away middling prospects? Hallander is doing fine in Sweden. Playing 20 minutes a game and getting under ½ a point per game. A fine prospect. But Hall is an elite player now and Leafs should be all in for a cup now. Not worrying about a possible 3rd line winger in a few years.
