Back then when they were struggling a retooling sounded like a good idea. But with the emergence of young assets like Robertson and Dellandrea I dunno if we actually have that much use for Strome. Not to mention he's been pretty disappointing this year...far from a top-6 forward.

At least with De Haan this trade will never go through. Needs to be Zadorov as it was earlier.

I'm starting to think that the amount of CHI fans trading Strome here combined with the fact that their C pool isn't exactly good sounds like a huge red flag.

I like Konecny and all, but that’s a lot to give up. I wouldn’t make that trade personally.

It's extremely nameless. They're overachieving, in a sense. If I had thrown out names like Suter, Söderberg, Carpenter, Wallmark and Kampf as the C core of this team this year at the beginning of the year, no one would've ranked this team higher than 30th place in the standings.

The only disappointing C there has been Strome. Which tells about the state of his play right now.

Strome has been injured and Colliton is only playing him as 3 line rw to ease him up from his concussion to get back as 2nd line center, Before the year stared hawks had a sense and projected Suter would be good and plays as well as he is in this current situation.

I hope for his sake that you're correct. Because if he can't get his ducks in a row and play in a top6 role with the competition against him being this nameless, it won't do any good for his value.

Plus Janmark-Dach-Strome was a good tonight and Strome has been doing good from coming back from his concussion
