I like Arvidsson but NSH won't retain for 4 years

Arvidsson has 5 goals this year, why not just put Robertson into the lineup.

Also, the Leafs are not trading Bogosian away to put in two rookies on the 3rd pair. They signed Bogosian for the playoffs

Arvidsson is on a terrible Nashville team and with a legit C he could go back to his old self and put up 30 goals and 60 points in a szn. and Zach Bogosian could be removed just thought it'd give the leafs a little more cap flexibilty

Why trade Engvall for nothing? He is doing very well as our 3c and isn't getting payed much. He is also only gonna get better as he gets more experience. People forget he is only 24.

This is why i said leafs fans lmk cause i'm not a hardcore leafs fan I just watch a game here and there

I thought he could be a cheap young guy for next year if there is cap problems. U could probably get him at around 1 mil per and he is a decent dman that I think could be a good add.

That is true.

(a) the Oilers don't have cap problems next year and (b) they have lots of cheap young defensemen already and (c) a 2nd + 4th is WAY too much to give up for a guy who would be buried on their depth chart. You can pick up better players in free agency for similar dollars.

Samorukov and Broberg will be able to play sheltered 3rd pairing minutes next year too - at a higher level than Dermott. They won't be required to, but it shows just how buried he would be in Edmonton.

Yah totally. Due to Samorukov's injury he needs a little time in the AHL but yes he is pretty ready. Broberg I think needs about 2 years minimum still. But in a pinch can be brought up. But we certainly will not need Broberg next year. Further more Dermott wouldnt make our farm team D core

This is all true, it's also the reason why the leafs should keep him. Plus if we move him out we need another defenceman with control to expose in the expansion draft.
