CBJ declines. Boon is worth more than a late 1st.

No thanks from Detroit. Fabbri has paced in the 50s in Detroit and Stetcher is a good RD for us.

Wings not trading stetcher and not trading for stinkfoot. Late first means nothing. Pass until you give us something of value

You probably need more value in the DET trade. Sub a second or Hallander in for the fifth and it is more equal.

Jenner isn't though. He is young and already regressing. You guys are getting a first round pick and likely to draft someone who will be better than Jenner anyways. It's a generous deal on TOR behalf or anyones behalf to toss a first rounder in for Jenner when two second would do the trick for retention (maybe plus a C-D prospect or so). Jenner's deal is up in two seasons, and if he walks, CBJ will end up with nothing. Not like you guys will make the playoffs this season or the next especially playing in a division with Washington, Pit, Philly, NYI, and Carolina. Jarmo would make a massive mistake to not accept this trade immediately. Abramov is a good prospect too. Lit up the Q last season, and was very impressive for Russia WJC this past holiday season.

Jarmo: "good luck with that, we'll be keeping Jenner"

Another TOR fan who thinks unless everyone moves their player to TOR for an awful return they are "losing out" and it's a "loss"
Here is a clue, they could get that exact same return next year from a half dozen teams.

An awful return OML you're the fan that thinks Jenner is worth Robertson and two firsts thats blasphemous. You're getting a draft pick where you can draft a BETTER player than Jenner who will develop at the same time you're other prospects will like Chinakhov who was an absolute steal IMO. Find a GM who would be willing to toss a first and a solid prospect for Boone Jenner who can be a defensive liability at times, and doesn't produce too well offensively. Like this type of return would be an overpayment for Taylor Hall and close to Rickard Rakells worth like my goodness. Look past these two seasons where you won't make the playoffs, and look ahead to how Columbus can rebuild and have a couple sick young players play with Werenski and Jones on the backend. Holding onto a guy with deminshing value is a sinkhole and won't get Columbus anywhere. You guys can't get very many UFA to sign there, so might as well draft up good prospects to one day have a legitimate team.

The TMLoser fan who like to rip all other teams because they aren't TOR.
Here is a clue homer.
They can get a late round 1st at any time for Jenner. They don't have to help TOR just because you cry about it.
You want him for two years. You'll pay more than that. If you don't they keep him. It's that simply. They aren't in any hurry to move him. Only you are.
