VAN needs Holtby to expose in the draft. It was the whole reason they signed him to a 2yr deal.

Not exactly sure why Carolina would do this. It’s more of a Reimer would be a better backup

Ned and Petr may be betterthan Reims, but Holtby is...

1. A former Washington Capital, so don't even get me started

2. It is starting to look like the Caps carried him because he has fell off a cliff in Vancouver

3. He can't stop pucks to save his life. Tough for VAN.

So, Reimer looks like an elite goaltender compared to Holtby.
