Might just be me but I think AZ accepts that. CBJ trade dunno Kerfoot is tough with his low production this year to gage his value.

I doubt Engvall would clear waivers

What a severe overpay for Jenner. He has the same offensive production as Kerfoot. What is it about non playoff teams average players that so appealing to Leaf fans?
Dvorkak isn't worth all that just to play 3C. Engvall or Kerfoot are dependable in that position.

Seems like in 90% of Kerfoot trades, the players coming back to the Leafs have the same or less production as Kerfoot. So many on this site think average players on other teams are so much better than Leafs average players.

I don’t think that’s just Leaf players I think it’s pretty consistent everywhere.

You are looking at statistics but not looking at the impact he has on games. He is a very tough competitor. He also has a lot of experience and is still in his prime and on a decent contract.

Well in some cases it's the idea they'll fit/do better on a different team, in a "better" situation (I think that's the case with Jenner. He brings an element the Leafs need & will be playing with more talent & a less stifling system.) In others it's just a case of the grass is always greener

First time I've seen a trade involving Kerfoot coming here that I'd actually consider.

When I saw the title of the thread, I thought that Wile E. Coyote met his end (again) and was processed into a jacket. smirk
