Can't sell Murphy and CAR wouldn't do that despite their recent history overpaying for Dmen....and both Skjei and Gardiner aren't even good.

No way Carolina accepts that. Carolinas defense is way to stacked to need to overpay for Murphy.

Chicago would want a Coleman payment for Murphy, So a good prospect and 1st, but I'd agree this deal isn't good

So other deals for Murphy kinda like the Coleman payment would be

Simon holmstrom + 1st (NYI) for Murphy

Abramov + 2nd (TOR) for Murphy

Before you say Murphy isn't getting a Coleman deal, Murphy is very valuable to the hawks organization and now is an assistant captain, He's the best defender on the team and is a very solid pker, He's big and physical and can block shots, he's a leader, and can be good offensively depending on his d-partner, and is on a very good deal. So Chicago won't trade him unless they get an overpayment

Which is you living in la la land. Teams aren’t taking on extra contracts this year. Plenty of players have passed through who normally wouldn’t.

Skjei isn’t bad no matter how many people try to tell themselves that.
