That Vrana > Hall at this point, and given where the Sabres currently stand, they'd be giving up pick(s)/prospect(s) to make a deal, which doesn't make a lot of sense for them.

We would be adding something like Jack Quinn and either another good prospect or pick. I don't see why Vrana would be available

Depends on what picks/prospects I suppose. for instance I'd add a 2nd. not sure about which prospect

he's been a healthy scratch so I was just speculating

I don't know...I guess I just don't see why Washington would make a move like this, given that they're a contender.

fair enough, maybe a 2 for 1 would be more interesting for them (something along the lines of montour and hall). downgrade their offense slightly to upgrade their defense

That's still 2 pending UFA's...so, after a playoff run, they have no Hall, no Montour, and no Vrana, who they could have kept.

Has he? I didn't know that. Probably just the coach sending a message that he has to be better, probably not for trade purposes if I had to guess
