Palmieri is fair value but foligno should get 1 of a 2nd or bellows not both, maybe throw in like a 4th or a 5th

I think the devils would be willing to retain the full 50%. in any event it doesnt really matter. If he is traded on deadline day his cap hit will be prorated to 25% of his AAV, so he would either cost you guys $562k 50% retained or $1.125mm at 0% retained. With that considered, I think there will be quite a few suitors. One of them is bound to give up a 1st rounder for him.

It’s certainly possible but it is a buyers market not as many teams have cap room like they usually do

This guy is going to be disappointed on deadline day. He has been banging this drum that Foligno is apparently worth Bellows + a 1st. Cannot wait to see what he does when they get a late 2nd round pick for him.
