Man, is that tempting! I just want to see it for a couple different reasons. I think a line with with ROR and Perron is the only way to go. I think the potential is there to bring the best out of Hall with them.

Why would the Sabres want Hoffman? He would just walk in the off-season. Include a piece they can actually hang onto other than the first rounder.

I mean the sabres will probably be lucky to get a 1st with the way hall has played. They can always sell Hoffman afterwards to get another asset

Could just flip him to another team. Sabres did a similar thing before with Halak at the deadline.

It’s true they did. But this deal would have to go through with enough time to make another deal happen. And what kind of return would Hoffman be worth?
