The Vasy trade is pretty risky. I think he's just better off sticking around in Tampa at least for the next few years.

I think Tampa should never have paid that much for Vas.

Moving him would make by far the most sense.

Ullmark likely gets much more than that. He isn't getting a paycut as a UFA

which is better than the above package I would say.

It's probably a bit of an overpay, but not really. Vasi is easily a top 3 goalie in the nhl. And goaltending is Toronto's biggest weakness by far. And yes, goalies shouldn't make as much as Vasi, but still, Toronto doesn't really care I don't think. They pay 40 mil for 4 forwards and everyone calls them nuts for it.

If the trade was Nylander for Vasi strait up I would do that very, very easily.

I think it's a wash. Nylander is better than Trocheck, but Trocheck makes way less, which is appealing for Tampa. I'd much rather have Jarvis than Kerfoot imo
