The key here is flexibility, signing players to shorter affordable deals and creating depth, not rushing Raymond or Seider, both of them and Veleno will have chances thru out the year, but we still need depth.

So the terms for the signings likely are not correct, but I feel for the dollar values I would be happy to see these guys come back. If we protect Smith then we likely lose Namestnikov. We can leave Dekeyser for 1 year (have a feeling he would be LTIR soon enough)

We need Nielsen off the roster, not even for the dollars, but we need room up front.

Let Helm, Biega, Filp, Harose and Gagner leave via UFA and see what else is out there.

I am very unsure about the UFAs, I would love to see a Dougie Hamilton signing but I don't think DET is in the right timeline for him, and likely would take a serious overpayment to get him

Andersen, if he doesn't want to take 2 x 3 then we go back to Bernier at 1 x 2-2.5

Hyman is good age and likely commanding a raise, we could persuade him but if another team wants to pay him more than 4, or give him a long term deal then he also wont be a good target.

Foligno is a great depth guy who we can flip to a contender with a great attitude, but he may return to CBJ and may also get more money (Mike Reilly likely also wants more than 3 x 3)

So those signings would be good value but may not be possible these are just what I would feel comfortable paying them,
