I'm not sure NSH would have any interest in Drouin, especially in an Ekholm trade.

Imo he's young enough to fit in some kind of re-build/re-tool if Nashville opts for that after this season.

You're not wrong, I'm just not sure NSH would really be willing to give up a lot to get a player that has struggled for both teams he's played for (or at least not met expectations really) -- and his value is probably at its lowest right now which would mean he's not netting Ekholm. NSH already has multiple struggling and underperforming, big-money forwards -- not sure how excited they would be to add another.

Given that everyone's offense seems to take a hit when they join the Preds, I'd hate to see what would happen to Drouin's scoring in NSH.

The Devils might have done the trade before the trade deadline but with the acquisition of Siegenthaler, I don't see the Devils being interested in Chairot

Pair him with Tanner Jeannot and his 1.72 G/60 and he should do good lol

It's strange because I see you giving up high picks and decent prospects for Ryan Graves sometimes. Imo Ben Chiarot would be a great stopgap cheaper than Graves until Kevin Bahl arrives.

Ducharme is not a clone of Julien, but it looks like he is struggling to find a good system for the team. However, he didn't have a lot of time to prepare himself and the way he wanted the team to play with a such condensed schedule. If the habs win a round, or if they, at least, show some grit and fight hard against the leafs, then I would give him a shot.

I do think that the 3 years he had as Julien's assistant have influenced him in his coaching decision. It's always the same strategy hidden under different forward lines and a constant denial of the Shea Weber problem.

or keep ducharme as an assistant cause he is a great hockey head, then put Bouchard as the head coach

I would 100% be down for this. My only concern would be Laval then. Bouchard has done very well with the team.

I'm pretty sure Tourigny has had multiple NHL or even AHL offers but turned them down. He likes his junior team.

yeah but Montreal is an interesting market for tourigny and laval would be the developpement part of the organisation, so it will be a perfect fit for him

Graves is 4 years younger and has term which is why I would pay a decent amount for him. Plus he would be a perfect fit next to Subban. If Bahl is close NHL ready by next year, Chariot would be the better option. But I doubt the Devils want to rush Bahl into the lineup so waiting 2 years for him or Mukamuddullin would be better
