I'd rather spend one more million and sign Tatar instead of Coleman

The only problem is that the Oilers say no.

ok, but to do this, you personally have to walk up to Weber and tell him to retire. Still up to the task?

I didn't mind many of the moves then I saw the one player that would make me boycott the Habs. Having Deangelo on the team goes against everything the Habs have preached over the last 30 years. The traded Subban, Pacioretty, Kassian and numerous others because of attitude issues then you expect them to sign a racist piece of crap like Deangelo! HELL NO!!!

You know that MTL offered him a contract if he was accepting to terminate is contract with NYR ? He could have played for us this year

      6M + 3M + 1M + 1M + 1M = 12M, not 40M

I thought of doing that, but we need more grit and Coleman is younger (just a little bit). Coleman hits, can play PK as well, I think he would fit better IMO but yeah I almost resigned Tatar instead of Coleman

Yes I know and I am glad he didn't accept it, and IMO Bergevin should be fired for even offering that trade. I mean with the issue of systemic racism front and center in society and the letters from the organization stating that they support the black lives matter movement. Then to go out and try to trade for the one guy who is openly racist is hypocritical at best and makes the Habs look like an organization that shares the views of trolls like Deangelo! Deangelo has a history going back to the OHL of his racist views and because he has not evolved he should be forced out of the league.

whatever, you over here acting like anyone is walking away from 12 million. They aren't. There is no way he's going to retire. If you are lucky he'll take those 1M years on LTIR. But that's as good as it's gonna get.

I wouldn't be surprised if LTIR happened. Maybe not this year, but the year after. He's done. His body doesn't follow his mind anymore and it results in awful plays and decision making.

What? I'm not saying he's walking out but he's clearly LTIR-bound in a year or two.
