Tkachuk isn’t getting traded, and the other two trades are just bad for Buffalo. At that price Dunn isn’t worth it. Stick with the young core of defensemen we already have. Taking on JVR’s contract erases the value of Aube-Kubel, and at this point why get more draft picks unless you’re using them to acquire players who can play now?

The Sabres are not so broken that you have to rebuild the entire offense. Let’s see how the expansion draft shakes out and who we end up hiring as a coach. If he decides to use Reinhart as a center full time that changes the make up of our top six. You can’t make any real decisions until you know who is going to be here and who isn’t.

Oi vey... yes, please do keep that sad offer package. It sure as hell won't get you at the table for Dunn.

    Justice for Dahlin 💰 ✔

    Jokiharju likely gets more though

I like the cut of the jib of this AGM a bunch it's constructive and hey the returns are low for those two young dynamos but otherwise pretty cool beans

I'm not suggesting the Blues would make the deal, but you are undervaluing Bryson. If the Blues were looking to save cap space next year and wanted a puck moving D-man to replace Dunn in the deal, then Bryson would be a good option. A 2nd and a good young puck moving D-man is a decent return for Dunn. If he was worth more he would have been dealt already.

First of all, they have not been trying to trade Dunn. So I don't know what you're on about with that last line. Secondly, the Blues have puck moving LDs falling out of their ears, so sending back an inferior LD with little offensive skill will not get anyone anywhere. On top of all that, Bryson is tiiiiiiiiiny, which is not going to interest the Blues at all, and the 2nd is going to be late, so half the league will top that offer if he does go to market after the season (which is no certainty at this point).

As solid as Dunn is, Buffalo would be better off keeping the 2nd and developing Bryson. McCabe would be a better choice for our team anyways, since he is one of the only guys we have/had with heart and leadership
